What gets me out of bed in the morning is honestly pretty simple: I want the people around me to feel taken care of. That sounds small, but I mean it in the deepest way. I'll be upfront about my quirks because they're very real. I stress-bake. Like, if something is weighing on me, I will produce an unreasonable number of cookies before I process the feeling. I know everyone's birthday — friends, coworkers, the regular guests at work — and I take that seriously in a way that might seem a little intense until you realize I just genuinely care. Angel Olsen and Big Thief are on heavy rotation when I'm driving or cooking or just existing quietly on a Sunday.
