Cookie & Storage Policy
How flrt ai uses cookies and browser storage.
Last updated: March 26, 2026
1. What Are Cookies & Local Storage?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites. Local storage (including localStorage and sessionStorage) serves a similar purpose but is managed by your browser rather than sent with every request. flrt ai primarily uses browser local storage rather than traditional cookies.
2. What We Use
2.1 Essential (Required)
These are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Auth session token | Keeps you signed in | Until logout / 7 days |
| Auth refresh token | Refreshes your session | 30 days |
2.2 Functional (Preferences)
These remember your preferences to improve your experience.
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Theme preference | Remembers light/dark mode choice | Persistent |
| Age verification | Remembers that you passed the age check | Persistent |
| Consent preference | Stores your consent choices | Persistent |
| Browse filters | Remembers your browsing preferences | Persistent |
| Persona draft | Auto-saves persona creation progress | Persistent |
2.3 Analytics
We do not currently use third-party web analytics services such as Google Analytics or similar trackers. If we introduce them in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent where required by law.
2.4 Mobile App
The mobile app does not use browser cookies. On mobile, we use device-level identifiers and on-device storage as described in the Privacy Policy, including a mobile measurement identifier for marketing-campaign attribution that is subject to your device's tracking controls (Apple App Tracking Transparency on iOS; Advertising ID controls on Android).
3. Third-Party Storage
Some of our infrastructure providers may set their own cookies or use browser storage to operate the Service:
- Authentication provider: Tokens and security cookies for secure session management.
- CDN and security provider: Cookies used for bot protection, rate limiting, and content-delivery performance.
4. Managing Your Preferences
You can control cookies and storage through several methods:
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and local storage. Note that blocking essential storage may prevent the Service from functioning.
- Our consent banner: Use the in-page consent control to accept or decline non-essential storage where shown.
- Clear site data: In your browser settings, you can clear all data for our domain. This will sign you out and reset your preferences.
- Mobile device controls: On iOS, manage tracking under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, manage your Advertising ID under Settings > Privacy > Ads.
5. Changes
We will update this policy if we change our use of cookies or storage technologies. Check this page periodically for updates.
